The Egyptian Cure Bank targeted the governorate of (Port Said - Damietta) with ophthalmology convoys due to the great need in these areas for ophthalmology convoys, and he stated that the Egyptian Cure Bank Foundation aims through the medical convoys that it carries out throughout the year to treat patients who are unable to afford the costs of treatment and who are unable to travel long distances to receive a health service worthy of them, and from here the Egyptian Cure Bank on 22/5/2016 Equipping the work team with medical equipment and doctors to set off to Port Said Governorate in the village of Al-Manasrah after it was found that the people of the village needed an ophthalmology convoy due to poor vision, and the convoy was fully equipped with the health unit in the village of Al-Manasra of medical devices and free treatment and identification of patients who need surgeries and the result of the good organization of the convoy was the examination of more than 445 patients and the conduct of more than 65 cataract operations and the disbursement of 225 medical glasses for visually impaired patients and the disbursement of approximately 300 free prescriptions for unable patients. At the level of the convoy of Damietta Governorate, Zarqa Center, the Egyptian Healing Bank team was moved to the place of the convoy in the health unit in the village of Al-Salam on 20/5/2016 after it was found that the people of the region needed ophthalmology convoys in the region, and the convoy was equipped at the highest level to accommodate the number of patients and provide them with distinguished medical service, and indeed more than 598 patients were examined, and the medical examination of these patients resulted in 85 cataract operations, 66 patients were examined and 10 transplants were performed. Cornea at a cost of 150 thousand pounds and the disbursement of 225 medical glasses for visually impaired patients and at the level of treatment has been disbursed more than 300 free prescriptions for patients who are unable His Excellency concluded by saying that all this work is the result of the confidence of good people in the Egyptian Cure Bank Foundation, stressing that those who participate in the medical Al-Goffel program as a general donation or zakat money fully trust that the donation or zakat money roams around the Arab Republic of Egypt with the Al-Goffel Medical Program From the Egyptian Cure Bank to treat unable patients.
